For many management students, the transition from classroom learning to the corporate world can feel overwhelming. But for Hardik, a student of Apeejay School of Management, this journey became a story of confidence, clarity, and continuous growth. Now placed at ICICI Bank, Hardik credits his institute experience for shaping not just his professional skills, but his overall personality.

How did your experience at Apeejay School of Management shape your personality?
Over the last two years, ASM played a crucial role in transforming how I present myself. I learned the importance of making a strong first impression, something that truly matters in interviews and professional spaces. The institute also helped me develop a structured and detailed approach to research. Writing research papers taught me how to analyse topics deeply and present insights in a professional manner.

Which modules or activities had the biggest impact on your preparation?
The mentorship I received from our faculty made a significant difference. Regular group discussions and practice sessions were conducted weekly, sometimes even two to three classes, which helped me build confidence in expressing my ideas. Additionally, personality development sessions ensured that I was fully prepared for real-world interactions, especially during placements.

Can you share a moment that boosted your confidence?
My SIP internship was a turning point. It was my first real exposure to a professional work environment. I remember feeling both excited and nervous. During the internship, I faced situations where I didn’t always know what to do initially. But that experience taught me how to respond, adapt, and still deliver my best. It gave me a realistic understanding of workplace challenges beyond textbooks and boosted my confidence immensely. What kind of practical experience did you gain during your course?
I had the opportunity to work on multiple projects. I did a live marketing research project at MDRA, followed by an internship at Crome Technologies as a Customer Success Executive. I also worked with an NGO where I managed social media content. Currently, I am working on my capstone project with Crome Technologies in a similar role. Each of these experiences helped me build practical skills and understand different aspects of the corporate world.
