Apeejay Svran Global School continues to prioritise the emotional and physical safety of its learners. In line with this vision, the school organised an engaging workshop on Good Touch, Bad Touch and Bullying Awareness for students of Classes 6 to 8. The thoughtfully curated session aimed to empower children with practical knowledge and confidence that would help them navigate daily situations responsibly.

Understanding Personal Boundaries and Instincts

The resource person guided students through age-appropriate explanations on the difference between safe and unsafe touch. The session emphasised the importance of trusting one’s instincts, setting healthy boundaries, and approaching a trusted adult whenever something feels uncomfortable. By presenting these concepts in simple, relatable ways, the workshop strengthened awareness and helped students understand that personal safety is both a right and a responsibility.

A significant focus of the session was understanding bullying—an issue that affects students across age groups. The workshop explained verbal, physical, emotional, and cyberbullying, stressing that any form of intimidation or harm is unacceptable. Students were encouraged to speak up, reject harmful behaviour, support peers in distress, and foster a culture rooted in kindness and respect. This learning-based approach aimed to instill empathy and responsible decision-making.

Interactive Activities for Real-Life Understanding

To ensure deeper engagement, the workshop included activities, reflective conversations, and real-life scenarios. These interactive components encouraged students to share their experiences, think critically, and understand the impact of their actions on others. Such dynamic participation enhanced emotional intelligence and helped learners apply these lessons in real-life situations.

Beyond raising awareness, the workshop aligned with the school’s focus on holistic education. It reinforced essential life skills such as self-confidence, empathy, teamwork, and responsible behaviour. Students left the session more informed, more aware, and better equipped to handle social interactions with maturity and sensitivity.

The event highlighted the school’s steadfast dedication to nurturing a safe, inclusive, and caring learning environment. By integrating important life-skill sessions into the curriculum, Apeejay Svran Global School ensures that every learner feels protected, supported, and empowered to make positive choices.
