It was a bright and exciting start to a much-awaited expedition as MYP and DP students of Apeejay’s IB School, Apeejay School International, Panchsheel Park, embarked on their CAS journey, filled with curiosity and enthusiasm. After a hearty and delightful breakfast at Panchgaon, Manesar, the group set off towards Ranthambore; ready for the adventures that awaited them. With snacks and timely bio-breaks en route, the students remained energised and cheerful throughout the drive.
Upon arrival, the young travellers were treated to a delicious lunch before relaxing and preparing for their first cultural immersion experience. Skilled Rajasthani artisans conducted insightful pottery and traditional art sessions, where students experienced hands-on learning while celebrating local culture and craftsmanship.
Day two began even before the sun had fully risen. After a comforting refreshment of hot chocolate or tea served with cookies and apples, the students, warmly clad and brimming with excitement, embarked on their thrilling jungle safari. The close brush with wildlife and the beauty of nature left them awestruck. A wholesome breakfast followed, energising them for the next experience, a village walk. Here, students connected with villagers, explored farmlands, and even gathered fresh produce, gaining a deeper appreciation of rural life and sustainability.

The post-lunch hours brought lively camaraderie as they bonded over badminton matches before enjoying an evening filled with vibrant cultural performances. Local artists mesmerised the audience with soulful music and energetic dance, and our students joyfully joined the celebrations. With an appetising dinner soon after, they rested comfortably, ready for yet another big day ahead.
Their visit to the historic Ranthambore Fort was a moment of pride as they explored a glorious chapter of India’s heritage. A brief stop at Dastkar allowed students to choose handcrafted souvenirs while supporting local artisans. The evening concluded with a high-spirited DJ night, laughter, music, and dancing, making memories to cherish.
Adding to the magic, students experienced stargazing through powerful telescopes, spotting Saturn, the moon, and luminous star clusters. A moment of wonder, science and reflection indeed.

‘This CAS trip was a meaningful experience that helped me learn beyond the classroom. It allowed me to understand culture, environment, and community in a more connected way. Our village interaction, plantation drive, and pottery workshop helped me see how closely people are related to the environment and how they rely on nature in their everyday lives, and how traditions shape their identity. As we moved to the heritage sites in Ranthambore and Jaipur, it allowed me to appreciate the depth of India’s history and I began to notice how history, art, and craftsmanship are preserved and passed on through generations. The jungle safari was one of the most impactful moments, as seeing wildlife in its natural habitat made conservation feel real and urgent. Spending these days with my peers also helped me build teamwork, patience, and confidence. Overall, the trip felt like a complete journey of learning about culture, nature, and myself.’ shares Tani Bansal, student of DP- 2.

The journey continued toward Jaipur after a restful sleep and a delicious breakfast. Exploring the City Palace, students admired its architectural splendour and engaged in a block-printing workshop, learning the artistry behind natural dyes and traditional fabric design. The final morning included a memorable visit to Amer Fort, an architectural marvel nestled in the Aravallis.
With hearts full of learning, friendship, and unforgettable experiences, the students began their return journey to Delhi, carrying with them not just souvenirs but a deeper understanding of culture, history, and community.
