Pursuing one career path can be demanding. But for Apeejay School, Faridabad alumna Samriddhi Sharma (Batch 2020), one goal was never enough. Right after Class 12, she pursued BSc Home Science from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University, and while doing that, she also cleared her CS (Company Secretary) Foundation. Today, she is simultaneously completing her LLB from Agra University, an online MBA in International Business and HR, interning at a law firm, and growing as a fashion & lifestyle content creator with 9,000+ followers. Her journey shows that when you are curious and courageous, the world opens up with possibilities.
Read edited excerpts:
You are pursuing both Law and MBA together. How did this path begin?
I always wanted to get into corporate law. So after school, when COVID disrupted our 2020 plans and I couldn’t prepare for CLAT, I chose a backup path — BSc Home Science from Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi. Once I joined my LLB, I realised that in the corporate space, an MBA really adds value. So from my second year, I started an online MBA as well. Both degrees complement each other perfectly.
How do you manage so much at once?
My Law course is offline, which is a two-hour drive from home. I attend classes whenever the faculty schedules them. After returning, I head to my internship office at Sector 16 Faridabad, where I handle case paperwork and sometimes go to Saket or Faridabad courts. MBA classes take place only on weekends. It’s hectic, but when you enjoy learning, you find your rhythm.
You also cleared the CS Foundation while in college. Why take so many qualifications together?
My mother encouraged me to experiment early — this is the age to explore. With Home Science, Law, CS and MBA, I have multiple career paths: corporate legal advisory, Company Secretary, development communication, even fashion & apparel science.

What are your future plans?
I want to pursue LLM and maybe a PhD later. I love academics and want to study further.
And your growing presence as a micro-influencer?
I create fashion, beauty and lifestyle content. Earlier, it was only free products. Now, I also receive paid brand collaborations. It feels great when your wardrobe and skincare shelf get filled without spending! Content creation makes me happy, so I’m not stopping because of fear or judgment.
Your advice to juniors?
Try everything you want. Life should be full of “I did it” — not “I wish I had.” Have a stable earning plan, yes, but keep your passions alive. Start small… and keep going!
