The Pre-primary Wing of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, was abuzz with vibrant energy as young learners immersed themselves in a diverse array of subject enrichment activities. These meticulously crafted activities were designed to ignite curiosity, stimulate cognitive growth, and foster socio-emotional development among students.
The students ventured into the world of creativity through cotton bud painting, depicting bugs. This hands-on activity not only sparked their imagination but also honed fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Additionally, through cotton dabbing on balls and crafting origami triangle fish, these young minds explored the realms of precision, control, and creativity in a playful manner.
These activities not only enhanced their eye-hand coordination and problem-solving abilities but also laid the foundation for conceptual understanding and writing skills. Furthermore, the bindi pasting activity encouraged exploration of symmetry and dexterity, enriching their fine motor skills.
LKG students delved into the world of phonics, exploring letter recognition and setting the stage for enhanced reading skills. Additionally, activities like backward counting sharpened their memory and concentration, establishing a strong groundwork for mathematical concepts.
In the UKG segment, students honed their motor skills and memorisation abilities through word formation activities. A heartfelt Mother’s Day activity not only fostered creativity but also instilled gratitude and appreciation in the hearts of young learners.
Apeejay School’s commitment to holistic education shines through its diverse range of subject enrichment activities. By blending creativity, exploration, and expression, the school ensures comprehensive development across all domains, nurturing young minds to reach their fullest potential.
