Welcoming new beginning with vision and values
The On-Boarding programme welcomes new parents at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri
Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to the parents of new students by hosting a well-organised On-boarding Programme recently. The event, presided over by the respected Principal Dr Vineet Vasishtha, aimed at familiarising parents with the school’s culture, values, and academic structure for the session 2025–26.
The programme commenced with a traditional tilak ceremony, followed by lamp lighting and the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, symbolising the beginning of an enlightening journey. Enthralling dance performances by Manasvi of Class VIII and students of Class V set the stage for the vibrant school atmosphere.
In his address, Dr Vasishtha warmly welcomed the gathering and highlighted the school’s ethos through a detailed and visually rich PowerPoint presentation curated by Mrs. Abha Gupta, PGT Biology. The presentation paid tribute to beloved Dr Stya Paul, Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya Group & Apeejay Education and traced the enduring legacy carried forward by Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education; Mr Nishant Berlia, Co-Family Business Owner and Core Board Member of the Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, and Pro-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University; Mr Aditya Berlia, Co-Family Business Owner and Core Board Member of the Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, and Pro-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya Universityand Dr Neha Berlia, Co-Family Business Owner, Core Board Member of the Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, and Pro-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University.
Dr. Vasishtha elaborated on the institute’s commitment to excellence in education, discussing the school’s core values, ethics, and student-centric practices. He emphasised the role of dedicated faculty in delivering holistic and enriching learning experiences.
Further insights into the fee structure, assessment, and examination systems were shared by Mrs Anita Singh, PRT, covering all sections — Pre-primary to senior. Mrs Ritu, Pre-primary Coordinator, provided a glimpse into innovative learning methodologies, while Mr Ashok, PGT Physical Education, introduced Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, engaging parents in rating their child’s strengths across various domains.
Concluding the session, Dr Vasishtha spoke about the Dr. Stya Paul Awards on Human Values, underlining the school’s emphasis on value-based education and character-building.
The programme ended with a Vote of Thanksby Livanshi of Class XI, followed by the distribution of a brochure and a book to parents. Guests were treated to tea and snacks, leaving with a sense of confidence and connection to the school community.
The On-boarding Programme successfully set the tone for a meaningful partnership between parents and school in shaping the future of the students.
