Daksh, congratulations on your outstanding performance in Mathematics. Can you tell us about your journey at Apeejay School?

Thank you! I’ve been with Apeejay Education since nursery, and it’s been a remarkable journey. The school has been pivotal in shaping my academic and personal growth. I’m currently pursuing commerce with maths and actively participate in extracurricular activities like the Interact Club, Model United Nations, and inter-house football.

What strategies did you employ to achieve such high marks in Mathematics?

Consistent practice was key for me. I focused heavily on the NCERT textbooks, which I believe are crucial for solid preparation. Despite not having tuition for most of 11th grade, I managed to excel by using sample papers and managing my time effectively. Weekly targets helped me stay on track without overwhelming myself.

You mentioned facing challenges. How did you overcome them?

I had a significant setback when I fractured my leg in the first half of 11th grade, leading to a backlog. During the vacations, I reached out to my teachers for extra classes and additional materials. Their support was instrumental in helping me catch up and succeed.

How did the teachers at Apeejay School contribute to your success?

The teachers played a crucial role in my academic journey. They provided constant motivation and support, even when I faced difficulties. Whenever I had questions or needed help, they were always ready to assist, which kept me focused and encouraged.

Can you share any memorable experiences from your time at Apeejay School?

One of the most memorable moments was taking the trophy for my Mathematics score to my teacher. The smile on her face was priceless and showed the strong teacher-student bond we have here. The Kalasangam program was also a highlight, especially because it covered commerce-related topics, which was a rare but valuable opportunity.

What are your future plans, and how has Apeejay School prepared you for them?

I aim to pursue an Economics Honours course, ideally at SRCC or St. Stephen’s. The CVT workshops and interactions with various agencies at the school have been incredibly helpful in guiding my career path. The school’s support and resources have been instrumental in preparing me for these next steps.
