At Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, parents value the school’s commitment to holistic education, personal attention, and nurturing environment. For Mr. Sachin Sharma, father of Neera Sharma (KG-B), Apeejay is not just a school, it’s a trusted institution that balances academics with creativity, extracurricular activities, and life skills. In this conversation, he shares how his daughter is thriving and becoming more confident each day.
Read edited excerpts:
How did your family first connect with Apeejay Education?
My wife, Prerna, is an alumna of Apeejay School, Noida. She studied there and always shared how her teachers gave personal attention to every student. Knowing that, it was natural for us to choose Apeejay for our daughter. The institution has a culture of care and quality education, which we trusted.
How has Neera adjusted to the school environment?
She has adjusted beautifully. Earlier, as new parents, we wondered how she would settle in. But thanks to the teachers’ detailed attention, Neera quickly became comfortable. Today, she looks forward to school every day, enjoys learning, and even confidently performs on stage.
What were the deciding factors for choosing Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park?
For us, overall development was most important. We didn’t want a school that focused only on academics. We wanted a place where every child’s unique needs are understood. Apeejay offers exactly that – teachers who adapt their teaching style, a culture of values, and strong extracurricular opportunities.
What activities does Neera enjoy the most?
She loves dancing, music, and storytelling. At home, she even tries making her own poems. She also enjoys reading and solving simple Maths problems. Beyond academics, she loves outdoor play and is exploring different sports. Since my wife has played sports at the national level, we hope Neera too finds her passion in it.

Has Apeejay supported you in your parenting journey?
Absolutely. Teachers leave a lasting impact on children. For example, Neera often repeats healthy habits taught in class, even reminding us at home about avoiding junk food. This partnership between school and parents makes raising a child easier and more meaningful.
What positive changes have you noticed in Neera since joining Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park?
Her confidence has grown tremendously. Earlier she was a little shy, but now she speaks freely, expresses herself clearly, and enjoys stage performances. Seeing her enact a peacock during a school event with such confidence was a proud moment for us.
