Middle school is a crucial transition year, and schools play a vital role in supporting students academically, emotionally, and socially. “At this stage, students here are introduced to more advanced concepts across subjects, and teachers guide them through structured lessons, regular assessments, and interactive learning methods,” shares Neha Kapoor, whose son Nishaant studies in Class VIII at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg.
Read on to know how co-curricular activities help build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
How are the teachers supporting him?
The teachers are consistently supportive of him in his academic journey. They offer guidance, clear his doubts, and ensure he understands the concepts well. Their approachable nature and willingness to help at any time give him the confidence to perform better and feel secure in his learning environment.

Which extracurricular activities does he enjoy?
He thoroughly enjoys playing basketball and is an active member of the school’s basketball team. He has proudly represented the school at the district-level tournament, showcasing his skills and sportsmanship. His passion for the game keeps him motivated, disciplined, and physically fit, contributing to his overall growth and confidence.
Which infrastructure facilities are impressively student-friendly?
Play areas offer children a safe and secure environment where they can explore, learn, and grow freely. These spaces encourage physical activity, creativity, and social interaction, all while ensuring their safety and well-being. A well-designed play area nurtures confidence, fosters friendships, and supports holistic development in a joyful setting.
Why did you choose Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg?
Choosing it was a natural decision for us. I completed my education — from school through college — at Apeejay Education. And my daughter, who is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Interior Design from Apeejay College of Fine Arts, also did her schooling here. Continuing this trusted legacy, we chose this school.
How are the safety protocols here?
Students are expected to follow school rules and instructions given by teachers and staff to ensure a disciplined and secure environment. They are taught the importance of safe play, especially on playgrounds, and are guided to stay away from potentially hazardous areas. Personal safety is also emphasised, with students being educated on staying aware of their surroundings and encouraged to report anything suspicious. Additionally, schools actively implement anti-bullying programs, fostering a culture of respect and kindness. Students are urged to report any instances of bullying, ensuring that everyone feels safe, supported, and included within the school community.
Is Apeejay School like a second home for your child?
Yes, school is often considered a child’s second home. It’s a place where they spend a significant amount of their time, learn, grow, and develop social skills. The school environment, with its teachers and peers, can foster a sense of belonging and provide a space for emotional and intellectual development, similar to the nurturing found at home.
