The journey from Class XI to XII marks a significant milestone for these toppers who have consistently demonstrated hard work, determination, and sincerity. Meet Tejas Pal, Yash Aggarwal, Jaskaranpreet Kaur and Arshpreet Kaur, who have scored 88.2%, 78.9%, 77.4% and 76.3%, respectively, in class XI at Apeejay School, Rama Mandi. Their exceptional performance has earned them academic accolades and brought immense pride to their parents and teachers.
As they now step into Class XII, the final leg of their school journey, they are gearing up for the board exams to be held next year with renewed focus and dedication.
Tejas, who scored brilliantly, shared that his timetable regime mainly consisted of keeping undivided focus on concepts and practice and revising them.
Speaking about her preparation strategy, Arshpreet said, “I used to study for 25-50 minutes followed by short breaks for a better improvement in concentration and minimal burnout. Regular revision is a key point, as spaced repetition improves retention and reduces anxiety during exams.”
Similarly, Jaskaranpreet said, “I used to revise one topic daily of all subjects. I used to concentrate in school during classes throughout the year. During the last days of my exams, I worked hard to give my best by staying focused and concentrated.”
While Yash had bought an online batch of sample papers and had prepared from there. Though Arshpreet has picked the commerce stream, she has already started creating detailed study plans, using effective learning techniques, practising regularly and managing stress effectively.
Though achieving a top score in the science stream wasn’t an easy cakewalk for Tejas, as he expressed, “The most challenging part of PCM is that it is itself challenging and requires patience to saturate the concepts.
On the other hand, Jaskaran, who is a PCB student, feels that the most challenging part of PCB is that we need to stay consistent throughout the year and practise numericals daily, since that’s the trickiest part.
Speaking about the support lent by his teachers, Yash expressed, “They are supportive and are available for clearing all sorts of doubts and queries.”
With their chosen streams guiding their aspirations, these students are already shaping plans for their future. As Arshpreet aspires to lead a fulfilling life where she is constantly learning, growing, and making a positive impact on those around her, Tejas wishes to be a forever learner in life. Yash’s ambition is to become a pilot, and Jaskaran wants to become a doctor and make her parents proud.
