Ways to stay safe: Cyberbullying
Published
2 weeks agoon

Cyberbullying involves using electronic communication to harass, threaten, or humiliate someone online. It can occur via texts, emails, social media posts, and online forums, often with anonymous perpetrators. Victims may experience depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, sleep problems, and even suicidal thoughts.
To stay safe, use strong passwords, set strong privacy settings, avoid sharing personal information, don’t respond to bullies, and block/report harassment. Crucially, if you are being cyberbullied, tell a trusted adult (parent, teacher, or counsellor) or report it to the platform or authorities. Remember, your safety should be your priority.
