Elocution training offers students invaluable benefits, from enhancing their confidence to developing clear, effective communication. At Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, Haryana these skills were celebrated in an Inter-House Elocution Competition for middle school students, featuring remarkable oratory talent in both Hindi and English. Students from Kabir, Gautam, Nanak, and Vivekananda Houses competed, impressing the audience and judges alike with their clarity, confidence, and depth.
In the English Elocution Competition, Hiral from Class VIII of Kabir House emerged victorious, her captivating delivery setting a high benchmark with its blend of assurance and articulation. Annaya, also from Class VIII and representing Gautam House, secured the second position with a compelling performance, while Sanvi from Nanak House earned third place, impressing the judges with her poise and expressiveness. Each participant engaged the audience with thought-provoking topics, showcasing maturity well beyond their years.

In Hindi, Hiral once again showcased her oratory talent by clinching first place for Kabir House, affirming her versatility across languages. Sunidhi from Nanak House took the second position with a spirited performance, while Nidhi from Kabir House secured third, each speaker displaying an impressive command over their language and engaging their listeners with rich, expressive speeches.
Principal Dr. Vineet Vashishtha honored the winners with certificates, commending their dedication and preparation. He praised all participants, emphasizing the competition as a platform to celebrate self-expression and inspire confidence.

“Elocution is not just about speaking; it’s about conveying thoughts with conviction, clarity, and passion,” Dr. Vashishtha said. “Today’s participants have shown that eloquence can inspire, inform, and influence. Such platforms build confidence, cultivate expression, and nurture future leaders who will make their voices heard meaningfully in society.”
The event concluded with applause and encouragement, leaving the participants and audience inspired by the compelling power of effective communication.
