Vichitra Vigyan 2024: Inspiring young scientists at Apeejay School, Saket

Apeejay School, Saket recently hosted Vichitra Vigyan 2024, an inter-school science and innovation competition. This exciting event brought together students from 20 schools in the region, aiming to spark scientific curiosity and foster a culture of innovation among young minds. The program featured various engaging activities designed to encourage creativity and showcase students’ talents in the field of science.

The event commenced with a formal welcome by Principal Dr. Sujeet Eric Masih, who expressed his enthusiasm for hosting such a remarkable gathering of young scientific talent. The Chief Guest, Dr. Shashank Shekhar—a distinguished scientist and professor known for his groundbreaking work in sustainable technology—delivered an inspiring address. He encouraged participants to explore the limitless possibilities that science offers, motivating them to think outside the box.

The success of Vichitra Vigyan 2024 was significantly attributed to the student volunteers who managed the event seamlessly. Their exceptional leadership skills were evident as they coordinated sessions and assisted participants, ensuring everything ran smoothly and everyone enjoyed the day.

Participants engaged in a variety of innovative events, including Arreglo Floral, Science Conclave, Model X – Innovate for Impact, Mystical Science Wonders, Eco Tech Creation – Science in Play, and the Science Olympiad. Each event was designed to challenge students and encourage them to think critically and creatively about scientific concepts.

During the valedictory ceremony, winners were recognised for their outstanding performances in each category. An overall trophy was also awarded to acknowledge exceptional participation across all events. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride as students celebrated their achievements.

Vichitra Vigyan 2024 concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Vice Principal Ms. Ashu Khattar, who acknowledged the hard work of participants, faculty, and organisers.
