On April 25-26, 2025, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, proudly hosted CRUX MUN 2025, bringing together a spirited gathering of over 365 delegates from 35 reputed schools. The two-day event aimed to ignite discussions on pressing global matters while honing the leadership and communication skills of its young participants.

The campus transformed into a vibrant hub of dialogue and diplomacy. The students, dressed as ambassadors of various nations, stepped into the roles of global change-makers, ready to voice their thoughts and negotiate solutions.

Day 1: Critical Debates and Collaborative Dialogue

Topics ranged from climate change and human rights violations to ongoing international conflicts. The intensity of the debates reflected the delegates’ dedication and deep understanding of the subjects at hand. Each committee session was marked by enthusiastic participation, strong research, and confident articulation. It was inspiring to witness students debating real-world issues with such conviction and clarity.

Day 2: Solutions and Strategic Thinking

The momentum continued on Day 2. Delegates tackled equally important global themes such as sustainable development, economic trends, and social justice. These discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration, and many committees successfully drafted resolutions offering viable solutions. The event offered a space where youth could explore the challenges of global diplomacy in a structured yet dynamic format.

The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Mr Sanjay Kumar Jain, Joint Commissioner of Police, Southern Range, New Delhi, as the Chief Guest. He addressed the audience and praised the event’s structure and the students’ active participation. His words served as both a motivation and a reminder of the role young leaders can play in shaping a better future.

According to Mr Sudhi Ranjan, PGT History, such events create awareness about our surroundings and the challenges the world is facing in the 21st century. “The idea is for students to become more self-reliant and confident in public speaking; it teaches them to also interact with the diverse social groups to establish effective communication,” the educator shared.

Sharing his experience, Paras Dewan said, “Learning how to work as a team to achieve shared goals, address challenges at local, national, and international levels, and develop empathy to understand others’ feelings were some of the key takeaways.”

Tushika Verma said, “I learnt how to conduct in-depth research and analysis on national and international issues, lobby effectively for a common agenda within a large group, and use modern gadgets constructively to generate new ideas.”

The conference concluded with several awards distributed to honour outstanding performances. Indraprastha International School, Dwarka, was awarded the Best School Delegation and received a cash prize of Rs 10,000, recognising their consistent performance and teamwork. In each committee, one student was recognised as the Best Delegate, each receiving a cash prize of Rs 2,500.
