The youngest learners of Apeejay School, Noida brought the festive spirit alive through a vibrant and heartwarming Special Assembly on Diwali, the much-loved festival of lights. Their cheerful smiles, traditional attire, and sparkling enthusiasm filled the school auditorium with positivity and joy.

The event began on a soulful note with the morning prayer, invoking peace and goodwill. The atmosphere shimmered with excitement as colourful decorations and radiant diyas adorned the stage. The tiny tots, dressed in beautiful ethnic outfits, radiated confidence as they presented thoughtful messages, mantras, and reflections on the true essence of Diwali — a festival that celebrates light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance.

Learning the Values of a Green Diwali

What made the celebration even more meaningful was the emphasis on eco-friendly practices. The young learners shared heartwarming messages on celebrating Diwali responsibly — encouraging everyone to avoid crackers and instead light up hearts with kindness and love. Through their words and actions, they reminded everyone that the best way to celebrate is by protecting the environment and spreading joy around us.

The Foundational Years Incharge also encouraged students to understand the deeper message of Diwali — togetherness, compassion, and sharing. They were also reminded that true celebration lies not in noise and grandeur, but in simple acts of joy, gratitude, and care for others.

Tiny Performers, Big Smiles

The highlight of the morning was the graceful dance performances by the students of KG B and KG C. With their tiny feet twirling to festive tunes and faces glowing like diyas, the little performers won every heart in the audience. Their synchronised steps and infectious energy reflected their hard work and the guidance of their teachers.

The assembly concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by thunderous applause for the young performers who made the day unforgettable. The event beautifully blended fun with learning, as children not only enjoyed the festivities but also absorbed important values of responsibility and respect for nature.
