During a video conferencing session that was held at Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth link on the MyGov portal to solicit input from students. The campaign aims to gather the perspectives of students, incorporating their ideas into the action plan for transforming India into a developed nation over the next 25 years. On the occasion, the PM addressed vice-chancellors of universities, heads of institutes, and faculty members.
While addressing the session, Modi underlined the need to channel the energy of the students and the youth of every university to move ahead at a pace to achieve the common goal of Viksit Bharat.
Noting the diversity of ideas, the Prime Minister laid equal emphasis on linking all the streams towards building a developed India. He urged everyone to go beyond their limits to contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. It was a national event where more than 60 universities of Haryana were present.
Dr Amit Goel, Professor cum Dean of Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram, participated in the panel discussion organised at the Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh during the inaugural event.

He gave his insights, discussing the topic – Technology and innovation for Sasakht Bharat.
All ASU faculty and students, led by vice-chancellor Professor Raj S Dhankar, were witnesses to the Prime Minister’s inaugural address on the Viksit Bharat programme, focusing on technology and innovation for a self-reliant India.
Dr Vijay Kumar, Associate Professor and NSS ASU programme coordinator, and Mohsin Khan, the Officiating Registrar at ASU, joined the event along with Dr Goel.
Post this, the university is moving ahead with active participation in Viksit Bharat, where more than 100 students have already given their valuable suggestions on the portal– www.mygov.in. ASU will set up a specific ballot box where students can put in their collective additional suggestions as well.
The students of ASU have taken a pledge to contribute to the development of a prosperous India.
