Recently, Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, added another feather to its cap by bagging the overall trophy at the 16th Techfest organised by the IT Forum of Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar. The achievement stood out for both its scale and consistency, with students delivering strong performances across a wide range of events.
The trophy was received by the school Principal, Mr Yashpal Sharma, along with a dedicated team of teachers and participating students, during a grand ceremony held at the auditorium of ACFA. The moment marked the culmination of weeks of preparation, practice, and teamwork.
Strong participation, stronger results
What made the win particularly noteworthy was the level of student involvement. A total of 78 students took part in 20 different events, reflecting the school’s emphasis on active participation beyond the classroom.
Their efforts translated into an impressive medal tally. The school secured 11 first positions, four second positions, and two third positions. Students excelled in events like Play with Clay, Painting on the Spot, Poster Presentation, Quiz Competition, Business Idea Presentation, Gaming Counter Strike, Role Play, English Declamation, Rangoli, Theme-based Modelling, Cooking, Group Dance, T-shirt Painting, Picture Captioning, News Reading, and Website Presentation.

Guidance that makes the difference
This remarkable performance is a clear reflection of the vision and motivation of Principal Mr Yashpal Sharma, the consistent guidance of Vice-principal Ms Aarti Shourie Bhat, and the tireless support of the teaching faculty. Their leadership created an environment where students felt encouraged to explore, experiment, and perform with confidence.
Both the Principal and Vice-principal congratulated the entire Apeejay Mahavir Marg family on this outstanding achievement.
The techfest experience offered students valuable lessons in creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management. It reinforced the school’s belief in holistic development, where academic learning goes hand in hand with practical exposure and real-world skills.
