Just like at home, children in school develop a sense of belonging and attachment to their peers, teachers, and the overall school community. “They form friendships, share experiences, and develop relationships that contribute to their emotional well-being,” shares Dharamvir whose children, Hardik, Nancy, and Pallavi study in classes II, IX, and VI respectively in Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri.
Excerpts from the interview
Why did you choose Apeejay for your child?
Most of my family and friends’ kids are studying in this school, also Hardik’s elder sisters are studying in the same school. So I know the history and influence of this school which undoubtedly is the best in the city. Hence, making this choice came by default.
How are the teachers here?
The staff is good and professional here. They put in a lot of effort to make children learn and grasp all the subject matters. Since my three kids study here, I have plenty of experience with different teachers and can confidently say that the teachers have helped my kids hone their knowledge.
How is the balance between curricular activities and academics here?

All my children actively participate in the sports activities organised by the school. They are exclusively fond of racing and love to compete in it. My daughter also participated in chess and won several prizes. I feel happy to see all my kids do so well in sports and studies.
Tell us about the journey of your kids so far in school.
I can vouch that all my children are getting groomed well in this school. I remember the days when my kids used to cry and throw tantrums for not going to school but now they are more than enthusiastic to go there daily. All three will wake up and get ready together one by one. It is such a pleasure to watch this progress.
How much do you agree with the adage – that school is the second home for a kid?
It is true. Let me explain this by saying that none of my three kids like to miss school anymore or prefer being absent. It is quite evident in their behaviour that they consider school a comfortable and happy place like their home and hence are always looking forward to being there.
