Schools support their students through focused academic planning, board-oriented preparation, and continuous mentoring. “My child has been a part of the Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, family since the age of two. This school was the only option that we looked at, as it is one of the oldest schools in Punjab. A school that we were confident would nurture her gently, and now we are proud of the way she is growing up,” shares Dr Monisha Malhotra, whose daughter, Khushi, studies in Class X here.
Read on to know how teachers provide structured revision schedules, regular tests, and detailed feedback to strengthen exam readiness.
How are the teachers preparing your child for the Boards?
Boards are generally associated with great anxiety among students and parents, but I am very happy to say that the faculty has taken great pains to put the students at ease. The syllabus was completed well before time, important tips were given, and tests were taken regularly. One important aspect was that students were encouraged to take part in extracurricular activities as well.
How is the pedagogy structured?
Academically, the school promotes balanced learning. The students are regularly taken to science labs and computer labs. The school offers a range of activities like yoga, fashion design, music, and dance. The teachers engage students in discussions in class all the time, emphasising holistic learning.
How is the parent-teacher interaction here?
Regular parent-teacher meetings are held where parents can freely interact with all the teachers. The class teacher always keeps us updated. I am very grateful to all the teachers for their support.
What are the strengths of this school?
The school’s key strengths lie in its dedicated faculty, strong academic framework, and emphasis on holistic development. It offers excellent sports and co-curricular opportunities and a disciplined yet nurturing environment. Structured guidance, value-based learning, and consistent encouragement help students excel both academically and personally.
How do you handle her studies at home?
We maintain a consistent study routine at home with fixed hours for revision and practice. Concepts are reinforced through discussion and problem-solving rather than rote learning. A balanced schedule with breaks ensures she stays motivated, focused, and stress-free while learning.
