“Apeejay plays a crucial role in the holistic development of children by not just providing academic excellence but also fostering social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Through various activities, interactions, and curriculum, this school encourage critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and character development,” shared Pradnya Bhole whose daughter Aarna is studying in class VIII at Apeejay School, Kharghar.
Excerpts from the interview:
How has Aarna’s journey been in school so far?
My daughter has been studying in Apeejay since pre Nursery and she has grown extensively as a person. Aarna has developed liking for many sports and extracurricular activities, which has opened a new world for her to explore so much about herself. She has become quite confident and an outgoing person.
How are the teachers here?

Whenever I interact with the teachers during PTMs, its such an eye-opener sessions with them. All the staff members display thus great professionalism and sincerity that you feel your child is in absolute safe hands.
Why did you select Apeejay for your child?
Actually I am born and brought up in Kharghar only and for ages I have observed this school growing manifold in terms of quality education. Moreover, this school is in close proximity to my home. Considering all this, Apeejay is the most apt choice for my kids.
Do you agree that school is the second home for a child?
I find total coherence with that thought. Just like how I provide a safe and sound environment to my children at home, similarly Apeejay is at par for the same. Facilities like furniture, washrooms are all well maintained and comfortable for children. And the teaching methodology at the school is superb and incomparable.
Define your parenting mantra.
My husband is a professor at a college in Matunga. Mostly, its him who is taking care of all academic challenges faced by my children and helps them in solving question papers. My role as a mother is to tend to them and fulfill all my motherly duties towards both my kids.
What kind of activities does Aarna enjoy at school?
She loves to play handball and badminton immensely. Apart from that, she is devoted to learning Bharatnatyam now. I am so happy to see my child participating and learning such activities which helps her tap into different potentials.
