‘This school gives good values to all children’

Amrita Pandey is the mother of  Navya Pandey, a class 1 student at Apeejay school, Faridabad, Sector -15. Navya, like all little children, finds solace and joy in art and also loves to dance.

In a quick interview over the phone, her mother tells the Newsroom team about her daughter’s progress at the school, her interest in art and about how teachers’ work towards overall nurturing of students. Read edited excerpts:

We hope Navya is happy at the school?

Yes, she is very happy. She has made many friends in her class and enjoys a lot with them. She is happy learning every day at school.

Which subject does she like the most?

She likes all the subjects. There is no one particular favourite as of now. She is a very young girl and like all children she loves art the most among her subjects. She loves to colour, draw, sketch.

Any liking in sports?

She has an interest in sports but no one particular sport again. She plays all sports at school in her PT period and is happy in that. It is good exercise!

What about extracurriculars?

Dance is her sole love in this. She enjoys that the most, dance is her go to activity.

Are the teachers teaching using any new learning techniques in the classes?

The teachers are all very good. They teach with many fun techniques that make studies fun and interactive for the children. I am very happy with all her teachers so far. I think Aarti Puri ma’am, the current class teacher, is very good.

We hope you are satisfied after enrolling the child here?

Completely! The best part about this school is that along with studies and other activities, our kids get good values here.
