Schools play a crucial role in developing both social and cognitive skills in junior elementary children. “Teachers here implement a curriculum focused on social-emotional learning (SEL) that includes lessons on empathy, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills,” shares Shipra Sapra whose son Vivaan studies in UKG at Apeejay School, Faridabad.

Read on to how this school effectively supports the development of social and cognitive skills amongst children.

Why did you choose Apeejay for admission?

The most important reason is that my husband is an alumnus of this school and it was his wish to put his children in the same school. When Vivaan took admission here it was a great day for us. We are extremely happy with his progress so far.

How are the teachers here?

They are all wonderful. The junior elementary teachers make sure to keep in touch with the parents regularly and share updates about their child’s growth. The strength of students in each class is limited hence teachers can give individual attention to each child.

How are the school infrastructure and facilities?

This school holds a legacy of over 50 years and my husband has seen sincere improvisations in terms of development here. The classrooms are equipped with ACs and an opulent auditorium was built recently.

What has Vivaan learned at school so far?

I love that children of junior levels are taught phonics which helps in developing their pronunciation skills. He is also learning the spelling of tricky words now. His gradual progress is appreciable.

Do you feel Apeejay is like a second home for your child?

Absolutely. I can say this confidently because the bridge between parents and teachers is fulfilling.  Moreover, this school maintains high safety protocols and we as parents always feel assured.
