To enable your child to explore and excel in various activities apart from studies, as a parent, you must choose a school that fosters overall development. Any school can help you gain insight into learning, but there are only a few that lay equal emphasis on promoting extracurricular activities, organise cultural functions, and propelling their students to achieve great heights.
This is why the decision to choose Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri was super easy for Vibha Gupta, mother of Avni and Hitika Gupta studying in classes nursery and second, respectively. Vibha believes that studies can go side by side but the cultural programmes help build a positive and supportive environment, enhancing the overall educational journey of students.
In an impromptu interview, the mother gives great insights about how this school has provided ample opportunities for her daughters to soar high.
What made you choose this school for your children?
My elder daughter studies at this school. Since her experience was exceptionally good, we were convinced that this school was a perfect fit for our younger daughter when it was time for her to start her formal education.
How has been your daughters’ experience so far in this school?
My daughters’ experience in this school has been excellent. I am extremely content with my choice of this institute for my children. I am glad that I have been able to provide the best education to my daughters.
One thing you admire the most about this school.
The learning pattern of this school is exceptional. One of the best things about the school is that they focus on every student. If a student falls behind or encounters challenges in keeping up with the pace of the class, the school actively works to support and guide them, ensuring they catch up with their peers.
Are they involved in any extracurricular activities?
My daughters are barely interested in sports activities but they remain very keen on taking active participation in cultural and annual events held at the school.
Are PTMs held regularly?
Yes. I actively attend the PTMs. The feedback I receive from these meetings is consistently positive, indicating a constructive and collaborative relationship between parents and teachers.

How do you support your children to study at home?
Avni typically takes inspiration from Hitika’s study habits. Other than that, I emphasise the significance of home-based studying beyond regular school hours. To encourage and motivate them, I have implemented a reward system; promising acknowledgments such as earning stars in their notebooks as a recognition for their efforts.
How do you spend quality time with your daughters?
We generally engage in completing homework together. On the weekends, we plan short outings which further strengthen our relationship.
What’s your parenting mantra?
I avoid placing undue pressure on them. I guide them with the notion that diligent studying can lead to great accomplishments and success. My elder daughter, Hitika serves as a prime example, demonstrating a strong commitment to her studies and a desire to achieve top marks in nearly every subject.
