This institute bids an emotional farewell to the graduating batch 

The atmosphere at the Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC), Dwarka, was brimming with emotion, nostalgia, and celebration as the institute came together to bid a fond farewell to the graduating batch of 2025. 

The event, held in the college auditorium, was attended by students, faculty members, guest lecturers, and dignitaries who have played a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of the students. 

The farewell began on a nostalgic note with the hosts invoking the spirit of timeless goodbyes, creating a perfect opening to the afternoon. The stage came alive with a heartfelt welcome extended to the dignitaries present, including Prof. Ashok Ogra (Advisor, AIMC), Prof. Sajal Mukherjee (Director, AIMC), along with AIMC’s faculty members and esteemed guest faculty. Prof Mukherjee in his address inspired students, “Stay creative and confident in your professional journeys ahead.” 

This was followed by moving and motivational words from the Advisor, Prof Ogra, who reflected on what formal education is and how it helps in the holistic development of an individual. 

The event was made vibrant with a host of performances by students, showcasing the diverse talents nurtured at AIMC. From dance and music to expressions of gratitude and reflections, each performance added to the emotional weight of the day. 

Student speakers took the stage to share their personal journeys—filled with learning, friendships, challenges, and unforgettable memories. Their words offered glimpses into the many layers of student life at AIMC, making the audience both smile and tear up in equal measure. A special segment of the day was dedicated to celebrating the individuality of students through the Award of Titles. Though the titles themselves remained light-hearted and symbolic, the emotions they stirred were profound. The applause, laughter, and cheers during this segment reminded everyone of the deep bonds formed on campus. 

Another highlight of the event was a heartfelt video montage created by the junior batch, capturing moments from the academic year—events, classroom camaraderie, field trips, and fun-filled adventures that defined the AIMC experience for the outgoing students. As the formal event drew to a close, the hosts delivered a sincere message to the graduates, encouraging them to carry the lessons and relationships built at AIMC into the world beyond. 

The event concluded with a celebration over lunch and a spirited DJ session, offering a joyous finale to an emotional day. More than just a farewell, the event was a beautiful celebration of memories, milestones, and the promise of a bright future. AIMC sends its best wishes to the Class of 2025, with confidence that they will make their mark in the media world and beyond.
