This design institute warmly welcomes its new creative batch of students

Apeejay Institute of Design organises an orientation programme for the newcomers

Apeejay Institute of Design (AID), New Delhi, rolled out the red carpet to welcome the fresh batch of Delhi Board of Technical Education (DBTE), an AICTE approved programme, to the campus. The institute hosted the orientation programme which helped the students of Interior Design, Fashion Design and Applied Art feel at ease and adjust to the new surroundings.

The programme was organised to provide a common platform for the new entrants to seek guidance from Mrs Reetu Betala, the Founder Director and Advisor, and acquaint them with their departments.

Further, a series of sessions and activities were organised to familiarise the students with AID campus and introduce them to the faculties of the respective departments, programmes offered as well as the rules and regulations of the Institute.

Apeejay Institute of Design is a premier design institute of the country with a mission to nurture and promote ‘Art, Culture and Design’. The institute offers Graduate Design Progrmme and Post Graduate Design Programme in Interior Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design and Animation & Multimedia. At AID, the vision is to provide students learning opportunities with a holistic approach. Hence, the institute organises several creative and innovative activities for its students.

Recently, the institute organised an outdoor studytourfor the students of GDP I semester along with their faculty members at Purana Qilla, where students encountered the beauty of monuments, and grasped the same in their sketches. The students thoroughly enjoyed the creative experience of the session conducted in the middle of nature and live-sketched the landscape.
