The transition from Class VII to VIII marks a significant milestone in a student’s academic journey, and these toppers of Class VII-B at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg have truly set a remarkable example.
Meet Daivik Arora, Sanay Manchanda, and Sanvi Kumar, who have scored 92.72%, 91.86% and 91.43% respectively in their final exams. With disciplined study routines, a thirst for knowledge, and unwavering dedication, these young achievers have inspired their peers and made both parents and teachers immensely proud.
Speaking about his preparation strategy, Daivik shared, “Since Sports is a main aspect of my life, I always had to plan my studies. I used to discuss the syllabus with all the respective teachers in advance so that I could prepare for my exams way ahead of time, because I never knew when I had to appear for my tournaments. All my teachers, especially my Class Teacher, have been very supportive and helpful towards me and play a major role in my success.”
Sanay, meanwhile, always included music along with his studies to keep himself energised and active.
Sanvi’s strategy was to focus on building a strong foundation in subjects like Math and English, as these are essential. “I made a study schedule where I revised concepts regularly and practised Math daily. Solving previous years’ question papers from our school website helped me build me, boost my confidence and helped me track my progress. I used to divide my syllabus into two parts when our syllabus came,” she added.
So what about the challenges they faced during exam time? “It was mainly fatigue: Long study hours made me tired, so I made sure to eat well, sleep properly, and take short walks to refresh my mind,” quipped Sanvi.
Though Daivik had to juggle between his sports practice and attending classes regularly. “Due to my tournaments and practice sessions, sometimes I had to miss school. But all thanks to my teachers who never stepped back from helping me and clearing my doubts whenever I reached them. Though it was difficult for me sometimes to cover that gap, thanks to the notes available on the Apeejay Moodle App and my subject teachers who helped me cover that gap to the maximum,” he shared. And Sanay dealt with revising the syllabus before exams.
It is a known fact that these bright minds embody the spirit of excellence and serve as shining role models for students across all grades. Their success is a reflection of consistent hard work, effective time management, and the supportive learning environment of the school.
