Amidst the fervour of competitive exams, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its students in the JEE Mains 2024 Session 2. This prestigious accomplishment speaks volumes about the dedication and perseverance of these young minds. In exclusive telephonic interviews, Apeejay Newsroom delves into the journeys of six such achievers, each with their unique insights and strategies.

Krrish Aggarwal:

For Krrish Aggarwal, the moment of receiving his exam scores was nothing short of memorable. With a percentile of 99.35 and 99.86 in sessions one and two, respectively, Krrish shares, “I felt really good. I knew how it went and was expecting to my limits.” His preparation strategy revolved around diligent guidance from school teachers and coaching. 

Despite finding Chemistry challenging, Krrish emphasised the importance of perseverance and seeking the right guidance. “It’s not about the result but about the journey,” he concludes, reflecting on his experience.

Parth Uppal:

Balancing JEE preparation and Board exams posed a significant challenge for Parth Uppal, who adopted a flexible time schedule to manage both effectively. Reflecting on moments of stress, Parth found solace in activities like yoga and pranayama.

Scoring a percentile of 96.26 in session 2, his aspirations extend to renowned institutions like IIT Roorkee, with a passion for computer science driving his academic pursuits. Parth acknowledges the pivotal role of his school in providing comprehensive support, from concept clarification to emotional guidance.

Prakhyat Jaidrath:

Prakhyat Jaidrath, selected for JEE Advanced based on his exceptional Session 1 percentile of 96.785, reflects on his preparation journey, “I scored 96.785 in session 1 and 95 in session 2.” Despite facing challenges, Prakhyat credits his consistent effort and dedication, stating, “I would tell them to work hard regularly. You must sacrifice for your career.”

Prakhyat found mock tests to be instrumental in his preparation, emphasising their importance, “I just gave mocks regularly. That helped me the most.” He advises future aspirants to prioritise regularity in their studies and emphasises the need for sacrifice and dedication. Despite difficulties in chemistry, Prakhyat’s strategic approach of focusing on important chapters and regular practise enabled him to overcome obstacles and achieve success in the JEE Mains.

Anmol Malik:

Anmol Malik sets his sights on premier institutions like IIT and BITS, particularly drawn to the dynamic environment and exceptional placements. With percentiles of 98.77 and 95.58 in sessions one and two, respectively, Anmol credits his school for both emotional and academic support during the rigorous preparation phase. His outstanding performance in Session 1 marks secured his selection for JEE Advanced, highlighting the impact of early success on his academic journey.

“The concept clarity that I got from school was invaluable,” he shares. Anmol’s journey underscores the significance of a supportive academic ecosystem in navigating the challenges of competitive exams.

Prateek Rout:

Prateek Rout’s journey underscores the importance of meticulous preparation and time management. Prioritising NCERT books and previous year questions, Prateek navigated the complexities of the exam with strategic focus. Overcoming challenges in mathematics through rigorous practice, Prateek aspires to join the ranks of IIT Bombay, drawn to its stellar reputation and academic excellence. 

Prateek scored a percentile of 95.46 in session two and his journey is a testament to the invaluable guidance and support provided by dedicated teachers at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park.

Aryan Nair:

Aryan Nair, despite starting his preparation later than most, achieved a commendable percentile of 96.010 in Session 1 of JEE Mains and 91.925 in Session 2. Reflecting on his journey, he shares, “I didn’t take it seriously at all till October 2023. Then I studied like 12 hours a day to compensate for that.” Despite the challenges, Aryan remains focused on his aspirations, stating, “I want to pursue engineering physics and obviously my first preference would be IIT Bombay.”

His dedication shines through as he emphasises the importance of consistent study habits for future aspirants: “To not take it lightly, I mean just study consistently.” With determination, Aryan is navigating his way through JEE Advanced preparation, acknowledging the difficulties but striving to give his best.

Thus, the journeys of Krrish Aggarwal, Parth Uppal, Prakhyat Jaidrath, Anmol Malik, Prateek Rout, and Aryan Nair showcase the power of resilience, determination, and community support.
