‘There is a strong level of exposure here,’ says Apeejay parent
Mother of Bhavesh, a new student in Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, shares about her son’s enthusiasm and ambition
Bhavesh recently joined Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, as a Class 9 student. Even though he is a new student, Bhavesh has already found his stride, impressing both peers and teachers with his dedication. In a candid conversation with his mother, we learn about his positive experiences so far and how he’s thriving in this new environment.
How has Bhavesh’s experience been since joining the school?
His experience has been simply great! There’s a strong level of exposure here, and Bhavesh finds healthy competition in his class. This kind of environment has reinvigorated him, pushing him to perform better. He’s genuinely happy and feels like he’s learning more each day.
Do you think the education here helps boost a student’s confidence?
Absolutely! The teacher-student relationship at this school is incredible. For instance, at a recent parent-teacher meeting, Bhavesh’s class teacher spoke so positively about his progress. The encouraging words not only uplifted Bhavesh’s confidence but also reassured me as a parent. The school even holds remedial doubt-solving classes to make sure no student is left behind.
What are Bhavesh’s academic interests?
He’s really into Science and Math. He dreams of becoming a cardiac surgeon one day, which is why he has such a strong interest in biology.
Impressive! Bhavesh also excels in chess, right?
Yes, he does! He recently secured third place at the district level chess competition. He also enjoys badminton and swimming—his passion for sports is just as strong as his academic interests.
Does the school provide any kind of counseling or workshops?
Definitely. They hold workshops on topics like girl child safety and adolescent guidance among other topics. The school makes sure to address the challenges teenagers face and empower them with the right knowledge.
How has the Principal’s vision influenced the school?
The Principal, Madam, is truly exceptional. One day it was pouring rain, and she was out there with an umbrella, guiding the students into the school building. As a parent, I was touched to see her so involved. She even came up to me and addressed me personally—it was such a heartwarming moment!
