The two best friends

Once upon a time, there were two best friends who were loyal, caring, and helpful towards each other. They never believed in other people’s gossip and kept complete trust in each other. Every student used to take inspiration from them, and even the teachers were delighted to see that.
The two friends were very ambitious and participated in many competitions. In one such competition, they both reached the finals, taking the competition so seriously that now these two good friends had turned into two rivals. They stopped talking to each other and continuously thought about how to make the other lose in the competition.
This continued for many days, and the feeling of love in their hearts had turned into hatred. Everyone was getting worried by seeing such a change in their behaviour. A few students went to the class teacher to discuss this problem. After a discussion, they all came up with a plan.
The next day, the class teacher announced an inter-class competition where the participation of every student was compulsory. As usual, the “two rivals” started to think about how they could make the other lose. On the competition day, everyone came prepared and ready. Soon, the competition began, and as it progressed, the “two rivals” were shocked to see the scene in the class. What did they see? They witnessed students helping each other, even though it was a competition. Even if one was losing, he or she was happy to see the other person win and cheered for them. “The Two Rivals” understood what they needed to understand, and it didn’t take much time for them to transform from “The Two Rivals” into “The Two Best Friends.”
