“Vedant is doing just fine,” says Kiran Jagdale, father of Vedant Jagdale, a class 7 D student with Apeejay School Nerul in Navi Mumbai. The father believes discipline to be one of the most crucial elements of a successful life and is happy that his son studies in a school that thinks alike. In a quick interaction with the Apeejay Newsroom, Mr Kiran Jagdale appreciates the school teachers for their commitment and soft-heartedness towards all students. Read edited excerpts:

How did Vedant fare in his class 6 end term exams?
He did quite well scoring above 90 % marks in his aggregate. Vedant scored well in Marathi, English and Hindi but a bit less in French. I am sure he will work on that. Among his other interests, my son loves art the most. He is happiest whenever he gets a project from school that requires painting and drawing.

Are the teachers doing justice to the pupils?
The teachers are very good as they take good care of the students and whatever suggestions we give during the PTMs, they work on it within a month’s time. The results speak for themselves. The teachers do their level best to create interest in the subjects.

Throwback to Vedant’s admission! Was the process easy?
We had an interview with the Principal and some other staff members. It was followed by Vedant’s interview. We, as parents, were tense as to how such a little child would do in the interview. But the staff made him feel very comfortable and welcome. I was surprised to see him answering every question enthusiastically.

Would you recommend the school to another parent?
Wholeheartedly! I always recommend the school to all parents I come across in my social circle.

Finally, what is the best thing about the school?
It is the discipline! The teachers accompany the students to the gate after school. It is never the case that kids are running here and there in the school compound. Also, there is a regular follow up for all academic activities. In case the child is not responding or performing well, the parents are informed.
