Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park believes that education extends beyond textbooks, nurturing every aspect of a child’s growth. To understand this impact, Apeejay Newsroom spoke to Mr. Lokwani, father of Ahaan Lokwani, a bright student in the 1st grade. Here’s what he had to say about their journey with Apeejay.
Read edited excerpts:
Why did you choose Apeejay School for Ahaan?
We chose Apeejay because it’s a reputed school with a good academic record, and it’s nearby. The teachers are really nice, and they offer a lot of activities. They focus on mental health, English speaking, sports, and academics.

How has your experience been since Ahaan joined Apeejay?
Ahaan has been with Apeejay since Nursery, and they have lived up to our expectations. They have taken care of him very nicely. When Ahaan joined, he had some speaking issues, but he has improved a lot since then. They even had a counsellor to help children initially.
What improvements have you seen in Ahaan since he joined Apeejay?
Since joining, Ahaan has learned social skills, how to behave with other kids and parents, and he’s become very interested in outdoor activities. He’s good at writing, listening, and he reads well. He’s also very interested in mathematics.
Can you share more about Ahaan’s extracurricular interests?
Ahaan participates in everything at school. He developed his dancing skills here; before Apeejay, he never danced, but now he enjoys it. He skates and participates in other activities as well.
How is Ahaan’s relationship with his teachers?
He loves his teachers and has a good bond with them. He likes going to school every day because of them.

How does the school keep parents involved?
The school invites parents for activities and conducts regular PTMs. They inform us through messages. It’s a give-and-take relationship; we share our concerns, and they get them resolved. They also tell us how Ahaan is doing, and we help improve where needed.
What do you think about the school’s environment?
The environment is very good. Ahaan has good friends, and the teachers and staff are really caring. The teachers take care of all the children very well.
How has Apeejay influenced Ahaan’s confidence?
Ahaan is very confident now. He can present his opinions and thoughts very well at such a young age. He’s always excited to go to school in the morning, which shows his confidence.
