‘The teachers are highly supportive and responsive at this school’

While it is important to choose the right school for a good start in life, it is just as important to choose a good kindergarten for your child. According to Aashima Aggarwal, whose son, Krishna, has recently gone into LKG at Apeejay School, Model Town from Rhythms Kinderworld in Jalandhar her child has become more organised since he joined the school. “Practical training is more important than just having to learn theoretically. I am extremely happy to see a drastic change in my son,” Aashima said. 

In an impromptu interview, the mother explains her innate happiness and satisfaction.

What made you choose Rhythms?

The primary reason for choosing this school was because his elder sister had already studied here. Moreover, my husband and some of my other cousins have also studied at the same school. The combined response of all the alumni was great. There was no reason for me to not enroll Krishna here.

How were the teachers able to make it easy for your kid to attend school?

The teachers at Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar are extremely supportive and highly responsive. Whenever you need help, they are always there to assist you whether it be personally or over the phone.

What are your expectations regarding your child’s development?

I have always wanted my child to experience the world practically. It is very early to claim this since my son is still a toddler but looking at the legacy of the school and its curriculum, they are on the right path to provide practical knowledge to their students. This makes me happy.

Was he involved in extracurricular activities?

Yes. He has been actively involved in different functions held at school for topical days such as the Dussehra celebration, Gandhi Jayanti, and many more.

What is the best thing you liked the most about the school?

A highlight of the school is that they try to make certain things compulsory like making sure that all kids participate in all school functions. This helps to build the innate confidence of a child.

How has been Krishna’s feedback from his teachers?

Excellent. Usually, kids are afraid of attending school, but my son is always more excited to attend school than be at home. Teachers are very friendly here, they know how to tackle a child even if they throw a tantrum.

How have you encouraged Krishna to eat more veggies and fruits?

Honestly, I have never faced the problem of ensuring Krishna eats fruits and vegetables. When he started going to school, I was worried about how he would adapt to the school environment. However, I am impressed with how he has managed to navigate a lot of things by himself.

Any specific methodology that the school uses to develop good study habits in children?

As I mentioned before, practical teaching is very important. For the same, there are projectors in every classroom. Children can learn and absorb more through educational videos and visuals shown on the projector.

How has your overall experience been so far?

I am more than happy that I made to right decision in sending Krishna to Rhythms Kinderworld. The entire experience was positive. One of the best traits that he has learnt at this school is that he has become outspoken.
