Roomi Roy is a Senior Manager at Accenture, and her husband Mr Varun Rai is a Senior Manager at MetLife Insurance. Their only child Abhimanyu Rai is a class 1 student at Apeejay International School, Greater Noida. In a quick interview over a phone call, Mrs Roy tells us about the school curriculum and her joy in finding the right balance between academics and extracurriculars at the school. Edited excerpts:
We hope Abhimanyu’s admission process was very simple?
It was totally hassle-free. A staff in the school was aligned to help me out with the admission structure, providing the fees breakup.
Is Abhimanyu happy at school?
Yes! He is very happy with his classmates and the school activities. He enjoys the storytelling sessions, and he also likes the music as well as art and craft sessions.
Are the teachers engaging well?
Yes, the teachers are teaching very finely.
Would you recommend the school to any other parent for admission?
Yes, I already have recommended the school to some of my neighbours.
What is the best thing about the school for you?
The school curriculum and study material is very delicately crafted. Back when I was still looking for a good school, I saw their curricula were more on the extra curricular front. But here in Apeejay International School, Greater Noida, there is a right balance between the curriculum and extracurricular activities. Their study material is age-appropriate for the child. The academic content is relevant with the child’s level of understanding. One rarely finds this in other schools.
