“The Stage is Yours” – A celebration of creativity and talent 

Talent Hunt is often regarded as the heart of every university as it brings together creativity, confidence, and community spirit under one vibrant platform. Beyond academics, it allows students to express their individuality — whether through art, music, dance, theatre, or public speaking — nurturing the emotional and cultural pulse of campus life. Such events celebrate diversity and inclusivity, giving every student a voice and a stage to shine. In essence, a Talent Hunt beats at the core of every university’s identity — inspiring passion, joy, and a sense of belonging that no classroom alone can offer.

Aligned with this thought, Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram hosted its much-awaited Talent Hunt 2025, under the lively theme “The Stage is Yours.” The annual event provided students from all schools with an inspiring platform to express their artistic, cultural, and creative potential through a wide range of performances and competitions.

The day commenced with Fine Arts competitions, where students showcased their creativity in live art, sketching, and poster-making. The energy and enthusiasm were palpable as young artists brought their imagination to life on canvas, reflecting innovation, colour, and emotional depth.

The formal inaugural session was graced by Vice Chancellor Prof. Vijay Vir Singh, Registrar Dr. Pardeep Kumar, and the Deans of various schools, who encouraged students to participate wholeheartedly and embrace creativity as an essential aspect of holistic learning. The ceremony began on an auspicious note with a Vandana dance performance by Adrija Banerjee, whose graceful moves set a celebratory tone for the day.

The event unfolded with a series of cultural competitions, highlighting the multifaceted talents of ASU’s student community. From solo and group singing that resonated with melody and emotion to dance performances that combined rhythm and expression, each act drew applause from the audience. Other events such as mimicry, elocution, poetry recitation, debate, RJ Hunt, and theatrical presentations brought out the diversity of student interests and the vibrancy of campus life.

The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with creativity, collaboration, and a healthy competitive spirit. Faculty members and peers alike encouraged participants, turning the event into a true celebration of talent and teamwork.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony recognised and honoured the winners for their exceptional performances. The prizes were awarded by Registrar Dr. Pardeep Kumar, Dean Students’ Welfare, and the Cultural Head, who commended the students for their dedication and enthusiasm. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Prof. Sanjay Ahirwal, who appreciated the unwavering efforts of students, faculty coordinators, and organisers for making Talent Hunt 2025 a grand success.

The celebration concluded on a high note, reflecting the university’s mission of nurturing holistic development and self-expression among students.
