Read edited excerpts:

Tell us about your educational and career path after school.
I completed my schooling from Apeejay Faridabad, right from nursery till Class 12. Later, I pursued B.Com (Hons.) in Economics from Delhi University. Soon after, I joined NDTV and now manage communications and brand marketing for their national and regional channels at the Noida office.

What are your fondest memories from school?
There are countless! From lunch breaks spent playing in the parking area to the excitement of annual day rehearsals, every year gifted me something memorable. We learnt lessons even from silly mistakes like scribbling secrets on the last pages of notebooks—because yes, you will get caught!

Becoming the Discipline Prefect remains a proud moment—walking with a badge and feeling responsible was a different high.

How did school shape your personality and confidence?
I was extremely shy as a child. My teachers pushed me gently yet consistently—whether it was speaking on stage or sharing opinions in class. They always said, “Just look at three friendly faces in the audience.” The school taught me how to think and communicate, to respect different perspectives, to work under pressure with grace, leadership, discipline and teamwork. These skills now define me at work.

What early interests sparked your love for marketing?
I always loved brainstorming creative ways to promote school events, especially MUNs. Commerce also helped—subjects like Business Studies and Economics made me understand consumer behaviour, demand, luxury goods and more. That’s when I realised marketing brings together creativity and strategy—my favourite combination!

Any extracurriculars that added to your growth?
Zero-period activities were the best! We rotated between aerobics and gardening, which was both fun and refreshing. I loved being outdoors with friends and staying active.
