The parent of two daughters at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, observes a clear and heartening shift in how each child is growing within the school environment. With Krisha now in Class VI, her learning has become more structured and academically focused, while Saanvi (Class I) continues to thrive in the playful, curiosity-driven world of primary years.
“My daughters have opened up to new experiences, stepping beyond their comfort zones and expressing their creativity through various school activities,” Manisha Malhotra said in a candid interview.
Any activities or habits they talk about at home that they particularly enjoy?
Both of them enjoy being part of the morning assembly. They have been given assembly duties and performed very well, which their teachers also appreciated. With the annual function approaching, they have been practicing at home and showing us their routines. They enjoy art as well.
How is the school supporting you in meeting your daughters’ needs?
During PTMs, I meet their class teachers and subject teachers, and they clearly explain where more inclusion or support is needed, whether in confidence or academics. They ensure Krisha steps out of her comfort zone and tries new things. Academically, she has always been strong, and teachers include her in many activities. The support is very consistent.

Is there any moment that made you feel extremely proud of your daughters?
They participate actively in any activity, competition, or presentation. One moment that stands out is Krisha’s graduation ceremony after class VI. She was chosen as the Class Representative, and seeing her on stage was a very proud moment for me. She has also become more confident in class activities, and teachers often send me pictures of her participating.
Middle school brings new challenges. How does the school help Krisha handle them?
Her teachers constantly motivate her to try new things and step out of her comfort zone. They guide her whenever needed. The school ensures students feel confident and understand that making mistakes is part of learning.
What impact has the school had on your daughters?
The school has had a very positive impact. The infrastructure is excellent, and the opportunities provided are many. Teachers guide the students, encourage them when needed, and create an environment where they can grow. This is exactly the impact I wanted to see in my children. Not many schools offer this level of support, but Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, truly stands out.
