When it comes to choosing the right school, parents today look beyond textbooks, they seek an environment that nurtures confidence, creativity, and conceptual clarity. For Dr. Etti Chaudhary, mother of Class 1 student Jivansh Chaudhary at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, the journey has been one of visible growth and reassurance.
Read edited excerpts:
What positive changes have you noticed in Jivansh since joining Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg?
Since joining the school, the most noticeable change has been in his conceptual clarity. Earlier, learning was more about memorisation, but now he understands the “why” behind every concept. Whether it is English phonics, Hindi, or Mathematics, the basics are very clear. For instance, he now understands multiplication through repeated addition, which makes learning much easier and more meaningful.
What stands out to you about the teaching approach at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg?
The school’s strong focus on concept-based learning. The teachers ensure that the fundamentals of English, Hindi, and Mathematics are very clear. Along with academics, equal importance is given to overall development. Jivansh actively participates in co-curricular activities like dance and stage performances. Most importantly, he enjoys going to school every day, feels comfortable with his teachers, and learns with confidence. This positive and engaging environment has made a meaningful difference in his growth.
How do teachers contribute to your child’s learning experience?
The teachers are extremely supportive and innovative in their approach. Activities like writing Hindi words on origami sheets make learning fun and engaging. Instead of following the same routine, they introduce creative methods that keep children interested and motivated.
How has the school supported Jivansh’s creativity and independent thinking?
He now takes initiative in everything he does. Whether it’s solving puzzles, drawing, or completing assignments, he first tries to do it on his own before asking for help. His thinking ability has improved significantly, and he shows curiosity across subjects.
Has Jivansh participated in any school events?
Yes, he has participated in stage performances, including the annual function where he was part of a Ganpati performance. Seeing him perform with confidence and discipline was a proud and emotional moment.
As a working parent, does the school ease your daily routine?
Absolutely. The teachers ensure that most of the learning happens in school itself. At home, just 15–30 minutes of revision is enough. This brings great mental relief, especially for working parents.
How satisfied are you with the school’s safety measures?
I feel completely secure. Since he travels by bus, safety is a major concern, but the staff, including the driver and helpers, are very responsible and supportive.
