A school plays a crucial role in the development of a prekindergarten child by fostering their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. “Through activities like drawing, colouring, and outdoor play, children here develop both fine and gross motor skills, preparing them for writing and other physical tasks,” shares Sweta Dutta whose daughter Sharanya is a prekinder at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, GK – II.
Read on to learn how this school encourage creativity and curiosity through play-based learning.
Why did you choose this preschool?
When I started looking for an apt school in December 2022 for my daughter, I found that Rhythms was a part of Apeejay Education brand value which was encouraging for me. We were assured that our daughter will be in good hands here.
Is the school environment conducive for young children?
The best part of this school is that it’s not situated underground or in any basement, which makes it a safe placement. The school model focuses on the holistic development of young children, rather than merely being a creche.
How are the teachers here?
There is a system which teachers follow here, they click pictures of children during daily sessions and activities and send them to parents. Another thing is all the staff and the School Head are more than teachers. They connect and deal with the kids at a personal level and get involved with them. The School Head takes an active interest in the curricular activities happening and participates with the kids.
What has your daughter learnt so far?
Her communication skills have gone up, she has learned to talk in English and Hindi. She has also learnt moral lessons like cleanliness, and giving respect to elders. She also picked the skill of writing letters and numbers and read 2 and 3-letter words at this young age.
Would you like to continue with Apeejay in future?
Of course. There are no two ways about it. We, as parents, feel that the Apeejay Education system is spot-on.
