At Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, every child’s journey is guided with care, patience, and encouragement. For little Adira Bansal, a student of KG-A, the transformation from being shy and reserved to confidently participating on stage has been remarkable. Her parents, Ms. Ankita Raina and Mr. Dhruv Bansal, both proud alumni of the school’s 2007 batch, share how their daughter has blossomed in the nurturing environment of Apeejay.
Read edited excerpts:
How has Adira’s journey been so far at Apeejay?
Adira actually began her journey at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, GK-2. Back then, she was extremely shy and would not speak to people easily. Even on stage, she would hesitate to participate. But after being at Apeejay for almost one and a half years now, the change is phenomenal. From a child who avoided interaction, she now performs confidently in front of a hundred people. That’s a big milestone for her and for us as parents.
What made you choose Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park for her?
Honestly, it was a natural choice. Both my husband and I are alumni of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Parki, and we always trusted the brand. We had other options too, but the quality, reputation, and strong values of Apeejay made the decision easy. For us, it wasn’t just about academics but also about the culture and holistic growth the school ensures.
How has the school supported Adira’s adjustment as a new learner?
Her teachers have been extremely supportive. They helped her settle in gradually; never pushing her but making her feel comfortable. She has never come back saying she doesn’t want to attend school. In fact, now she insists she doesn’t want to take a day off because she enjoys her time there so much. From teachers to didis, everyone has been so caring.
Can you share some recent experiences Adira has enjoyed?
Recently, she was part of the KG Thematic Presentation, where her class represented Punjab. She spoke lines about the state and also performed a group dance. For a child who was once hesitant to speak, that was a proud moment. She also loves her Sports Guru sessions – especially games like ball-catching, hopscotch, and fun relay activities. These experiences keep her engaged and active.

What do you value most about the school’s approach?
I truly appreciate the balance between academics and extracurricular activities. From Hindi Divas, Spellathon, and Olympiads to art, theatre, and excursions, the exposure is wide and enriching. The best part is that parents have the flexibility to choose activities based on the child’s interest. This balance ensures that learning is fun while also instilling discipline and confidence.
