Sharing his views Philip J. Dolo, an international student from Liberia currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering at Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram mentioned, “Interacting with diverse students and faculty has expanded my worldview and enriched my learning. I’ve gained new perspectives on culture, teamwork, communication, and academic collaboration. Working with individuals from different regions and disciplines has taught me adaptability, respect for diversity, and the importance of global thinking—skills that are essential in today’s interconnected world.”

Faculty diversity adds another important dimension to the learning experience. Professors who have studied, taught or worked in different parts of the world bring global insights into their teaching. Their varied academic approaches, research practices and professional experiences expose students to international standards and methodologies. This not only strengthens subject knowledge but also prepares students for global careers and multicultural workplaces.
