The much-awaited Pre-Primary Appreciation Day at Apeejay School, Nerul, was organised at Vishnudas Bhave Hall, Vashi, recently. The event was a spectacular celebration of the achievements and growth of the youngest learners, centred on the theme Gloom to Glory – The Piper’s Triumph.
The event began with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, parents, and students. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Mr Brahmanand Naikwade, Senior Police Inspector, and Guest of Honour Mr Nakshatra Deepak Gupta, a distinguished Chartered Accountant and a proud alumnus of Apeejay School, Nerul.
The traditional lighting of the lamp marked the beginning of the ceremony, symbolizing the victory of knowledge over ignorance. The audience was then enthralled by a beautifully choreographed Invocation Dance, seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati and Lord Ganesha.
Inspirational Words from the Leadership
Mr Naikwade addressed the audience, sharing his valuable insights on embracing challenges with courage. He encouraged students to constantly strive for excellence and resilience. Mr Gupta spoke about the importance of perseverance and transformation, motivating the young minds to believe in themselves.


In his address, Principal Mr P Subhash inspired the gathering with his motivating words, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education and character-building. His speech emphasized the importance of nurturing young minds to achieve great heights.
Following this, Pre-Primary Coordinator Mrs Mrinalini Singh presented the Pre-Primary Report, showcasing the remarkable progress and accomplishments of the students over the academic year. Her report highlighted the dedication and enthusiasm of both students and teachers in fostering a joyful learning environment.
Celebrating Young Achievers
One of the most awaited moments of the day was the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The young learners were applauded for their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm. The joy and excitement on their faces as they received their awards made the moment even more special for parents and teachers alike.

The highlight of the event was a mesmerising thematic skit, performed by the pre-primary students. Staying true to the theme, Gloom to Glory – The Piper’s Triumph, the story depicted the journey of transformation. The performance beautifully illustrated how four negative emotions — anger, sadness, fear, and arrogance — transformed into calmness, happiness, confidence, and togetherness.
Each scene was brought to life with expressive storytelling, vibrant costumes, and energetic performances, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. The young performers delivered their dialogues with clarity and confidence, making their emotions palpable to the audience. The carefully choreographed movements and synchronised stage transitions added to the seamless storytelling, making every scene visually captivating. The skit’s message of resilience, emotional growth, and inner strength deeply resonated with everyone present. Thunderous applause and cheers echoed through the hall as the young actors took their final bow, a testament to their incredible performance and dedication.

A special behind-the-scenes video was presented, offering a glimpse into the students’ and teachers’ tireless efforts in preparing for the event. The dedication of the young learners and their mentors was truly commendable, showcasing the teamwork and determination that went into making the event a success.
The event concluded on a soulful note with a beautifully recited poem by Pre-Primary Coordinator Mrs Singh. Her words encapsulated the essence of the event — the power of transformation and resilience.
This was followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the efforts of teachers, parents, and students in making the event a memorable one. The celebration came to an end with the National Anthem, filling the hall with a sense of pride and unity.
