Meet Ms Rajwinder Kaur, mother of Gurnoor Kaur, who is presently studying in Class XI and pursuing the Science at Apeejay School, Rama Mandi. How has your overall journey with Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, been so far?

Our journey with the school has been truly amazing. The staff is extremely dedicated and cooperative, and the teachers ensure all academic work is handled efficiently, even conducting online classes and revisions during vacations when required.

Does Gurnoor participate in sports or any extracurricular activities?

Gurnoor is not inclined towards sports, but she actively participates in extracurricular activities, including speeches, debating, anchoring, and dance. She has taken part in school functions and the annual function, showcasing her confidence and communication skills regularly.

What does she wish to pursue in the future?

She is very focused and clear-headed about her future. She is disciplined, sincere, and understands the importance of consistent effort and is willing to focus on the NEET exam thereafter.

Do you feel the school is preparing her well for Board examinations and competitive exams?

Yes, the school is preparing her very well. The library and teachers provide ample study material and reference books, doubts are cleared regularly, and teachers are extremely cooperative and supportive throughout the learning process. 

How is the parent–teacher interaction?

The parent–teacher interaction is smooth and effective. I attend every PTM and find the teachers approachable, responsive, and transparent. They always keep parents informed about academic progress and provide timely guidance whenever needed.

If any concern or query is raised, does the school resolve it promptly?

Yes, whenever we raise a concern, the school responds promptly. Even the administrative staff are cooperative and supportive, ensuring that issues are addressed efficiently and parents feel heard and respected at all times.  

Being a working parent, how do you manage to spend quality time with Gurnoor?

Despite being a working parent, I make it a point to spend quality time with her daily. We have dinner together, discuss her school day, teachers, studies, and tests, which helps us stay connected and involved in her routine. 

How would you describe her screen time and phone usage?

Gurnoor’s screen time is limited as she remains busy with her studies. She does not carry a phone to school and uses it only at home occasionally, sometimes watching light-hearted videos with me for relaxation.

Overall, are you satisfied with the school?

Yes, I am completely satisfied with Apeejay School as they provide a safe, disciplined, and nurturing environment, balance academics with overall development, and ensure both students and parents feel supported throughout the journey.
