‘The night sky’: Poem by Pratiksha Nandy, Apeejay School, Kharghar

My eyes gaze at the sky

which glistens in the night 

it pulls me closer and embraces me

wrapping me into a trance of tranquility 

as I get drunk on the whispers of the winds

singing gently into my ears, soft and serene

I slowly float towards the endless abyss

which seeks and calls for me alone 

And I drown forever, into that unknown.
