For working parents, finding a school that balances academics, creativity, emotional well-being and life values is often a challenge. For Mrs Pamelee Pal Babbar, mother of Ayneeka Pal Babbar, a Class I student at Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, this balance has been thoughtfully addressed. In this candid conversation, she shares how the school’s holistic curriculum, supportive teachers and child-friendly approach have made her daughter’s early learning journey joyful and stress-free.

Read edited excerpts:

What aspects of Apeejay Svran Global School’s curriculum do you find most beneficial for your child?
I feel the curriculum is extremely holistic. The school gives equal importance to academics, creativity, sports and overall personality development. Learning is not limited to books alone. Every aspect of a child’s growth is addressed, which I find very progressive and reassuring as a parent.

Has Ayneeka participated in any school activities recently?
She took part in the Grandparents’ Day celebration, which was lovely to see. While many activities happen at school and she doesn’t always talk about them, I can clearly see the confidence and comfort she has while participating.

How has the school supported Ayneeka emotionally and developmentally at this age?
Children of this generation can often feel confused about their interests and emotions. I feel the class teacher and staff members are doing a wonderful job of gently guiding her and aligning her interests without forcing anything. The support system at Apeejay Svran Global School is very strong.

As a working professional, how does the school help reduce academic stress at home?
This was one of the main reasons I chose Apeejay Svran Global School. The learning happens largely within school hours. The activities given are age-appropriate and something Ayneeka can do independently. There is no excessive homework burden, which is a huge relief for working parents with unpredictable schedules.

How does the school nurture curiosity and creativity among young learners?
Ayneeka loves going to school and never wants to miss a day. That itself shows how comfortable and happy she feels there. She enjoys learning and never complains, which reflects how engaging and supportive the classroom environment is.

What is your view on the school’s focus on moral values and discipline?
The school places strong emphasis on values like respect for elders, relationships, nature and the environment. Activities such as plant-related initiatives and celebrations like Grandparents’ Day help instil these values early. I truly appreciate this conscious effort.
