
Smt. Rano Devi is the mother of Harshpreet Baswan, a third-year BBA student at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Jalandhar . In an informal chat, she describes her son’s progress and growth at the institute as well as speaks of Harshpreet’s future plans. Read edited excerpts:
How is Harshpreet performing at the class?
Very well! His grades are very good. He is enjoying his classes and has many friends. All in all, he loves going to college.
How are the teachers teaching?
Indeed! They are all teaching very well. My son praises many of his professors and says that they explain each concept in depth and always clarify all doubts and questions.
So, what’s his career aim?
He wishes to pursue an MBA after this course. Let us see what is in store.
What about his interests other than studies?
He is a sports buff. He loves volleyball and football and has also won many competitions in sports at the college. He occasionally takes part in speeches as well. And he is also the student coordinator.
Being groomed well for the placements?
Resume writing, panel discussion, nurturing skills for interviews are all being taught to all the students. It is a great environment at this college.
Are you satisfied with AIMETC as a parent?
Yes. AIMETC is near to our residence and is certainly the best college in Jalandhar. I am so happy my child is in the best place.
