The Chosen One

Once upon a time, there was a 15-year-old boy named Peter Quill. Whenever Peter was free and had nothing to do, he used to look at the sky and find some shapes. Sometimes, he saw dragons or some weird creatures and even humans in those mountain-looking clouds. When he couldn’t find anything, he wondered if   everything he had seen before were creatures living in clouds. Little did he know that the creatures and the mountains he saw were real! They were the people of the light dimension. And these very people were looking for ‘the chosen one.’

In the light dimension, their king was killed by Dormammu, a giant and the head of the dark dimension. He wanted to turn the light dimension dark, and his plan had already begun. The elders believed in the prophecy that when their king was dead dark times would come.  Only ‘the chosen one’ would save them. Therefore, secretly the elders commanded the younglings and adults to find him. They were suspicious that Peter might be the one.   But they were not sure. Hence, the elders commanded them to bring Peter in front of them to perform the ritual.

When the younglings arrived at Peter’s house, he felt scared and hid under his bed. One of the younglings named Drax talked to Peter and told him everything about their situation. After listening to the story, Peter agreed to go with them. When they reached, they arrived at the place where the ritual was supposed to happen. There was a fire and candles were lit all around. Then, an elder Skrull (a kind of living creature in the light dimension) Came forward. His name was Odin. Odin started the ritual and started singing some hymns. After the ritual, they find out that Peter is indeed ‘the chosen one.’ When everyone found out about this they bowed down to Peter. Odin called the dragons who were the warriors of the king, and told the head dragon Sidious to train Peter.

Meanwhile, the news of ‘the chosen one’ reached Dormammu. He decided that he would kill Peter shortly. In about six months, Peter learned sword fighting, defensive tricks, fire magic, and much more. He was prepared to fight Dormammu. He went to Dormammu’s lair and confronted him.

Dormammu laughed boisterously and exclaimed, “How can a kid defeat me? ” to which Peter took a sigh of courage and exclaimed, “Overconfidence isn’t good, Dormammu!” And then the great battle started. Peter almost lost but he had one last trick up his sleeve which was the ultimate fire blow. This move defeated Dormammu. After that villain was dead, people agreed to make Thor, a powerful warrior and son of Odin, their new king. Peter returned to his house.

After that, he never saw shapes in the cloud. This meant that the people of the light dimension were living happily.
