CCelebrations such as the Dakshta Padak Ceremony inspire students by recognising not only achievement but also consistent growth. They foster a culture of excellence, resilience, and motivation within the school community. Apeejay School, Saket, resonated with pride and joy as it hosted the Dakshta Padak Ceremony, a much-awaited annual event that honours academic brilliance and consistent growth of its young achievers. The atmosphere was vibrant, reflecting both the spirit of celebration and the solemn recognition of hard work and perseverance.
The programme began on an auspicious note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, accompanied by a soulful Vandana. This sacred tradition symbolised the triumph of knowledge over ignorance, setting the perfect tone for the day. The school extended a warm and eco-conscious green welcome to the Chief Guest, Dr Priya Panjabi, Professor at the Department of Botany, University of Delhi, reflecting Apeejay’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability.
The Principal of the school, Dr Sujeet Eric Masih, in his address, warmly welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest, lauding her outstanding contributions to academia. He also highlighted the significance of the Dakshta Padak Ceremony as a platform to appreciate excellence while nurturing holistic growth in students.
The heart of the event was the much-anticipated felicitation of the scholars. Students were recognised across categories—four-year, three-year, two-year, and annual scholars—each award a testimony to their dedication, consistency, and pursuit of excellence. In addition, special recognition was conferred upon students who demonstrated commendable and exemplary academic growth, reaffirming the school’s philosophy of valuing progress as much as achievement.







In her inspiring address, Dr Panjabi praised the school’s efforts in harmonising academic rigour with value-based education. She urged students to cultivate curiosity, discipline, and humility as lifelong companions in their educational journey. Her words were a guiding light, reminding the young scholars that true success lies not only in knowledge acquisition but also in the character built along the way.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Vice-principal, Ms Ashu Khattar. She extended gratitude to the Chief Guest, the management, teachers, parents, and students whose collective efforts made the day a memorable one.
