Devanshi Vohra, a Class 8 student of Apeejay Svran Global School, is a sincere and value-driven learner who believes in discipline, curiosity and compassion. Recently honoured with the prestigious Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values, she exemplifies honesty, responsibility and kindness in her daily life. Guided by her teachers and school environment, Devanshi strives to grow academically while becoming a responsible, ethical individual. Read edited excerpts of the achiever’s interview:
How did you feel when you found out that you would be receiving this award?

I felt incredibly happy, grateful and pleasantly surprised when I learned that I had won the Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values. It was a deeply proud and emotional moment for me, and it encouraged me to continue working with sincerity, dedication and strong values.
How did your school and teachers support you in this journey of achievement
My school and teachers played a significant role in my journey towards achieving the Dr Stya Paul Award. They constantly guided and motivated me to maintain discipline, sincerity, and excellence. Their encouragement and value-based education helped shape my character and achievements.
Human values are core to this award. How do you try to uphold them in your daily life?
Since the Dr Stya Paul Award is rooted in human values, I try to uphold honesty, respect, responsibility, and kindness in my daily life. I believe in being fair, helping others, and staying true to my principles in every situation.
Do you believe in learning something new every day? How do you implement that?
Yes, I strongly believe in continuous learning, which is an important part of the values recognised by the Stya Paul Award. I implement this by being curious, listening carefully, learning from my teachers and peers, and reflecting on my experiences each day.
