Recently, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, took a meaningful step in strengthening digital safety when its teachers attended the Cyber Samvad Workshop at the Police Headquarters in New Delhi. The session brought together senior officials and cyber experts who walked educators through the fast-changing world of online risks. The training also helped teachers see how small digital habits can create larger vulnerabilities, especially for young learners who spend more time online each year.
Online threats grow stronger when awareness stays weak. The workshop helped bridge that gap through clear and practical guidance.
· Rising cyber threats explained in simple, real scenarios
· Safety tips for WhatsApp, email, and social media
· Understanding Digital Arrest traps that target unsuspecting users
· Handling cyberbullying with calm, timely action
· Online gaming risks and how they affect young learners

Key tools discussed
The experts introduced important tools that every teacher and student should know.
· Sanchar Sathi app for checking mobile connections and preventing misuse
· National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal for quick redressal
· Helplines and support systems available for victims
The workshop sharpened the teachers’ ability to guide students with confidence. When children ask about a suspicious message or a sudden online threat, the school now has trained educators who can step in with clarity and assurance. The session also encouraged teachers to open more conversations in classrooms about safe digital behaviour, responsible communication, and mindful online habits.
Cyber awareness is no longer an added skill. It is a daily necessity for every learner. With this workshop, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, has reinforced its commitment to student safety. The educators walked away with practical tools, sharper instincts, and a renewed responsibility to help children stay alert and cyber-conscious.
