Mother of Apeejay School, Saket student says the well-equipped learning areas and supportive environment of the school contribute to a child’s overall development
Mrs. Amandeep Kaur is a Jewelry Coordinator, and her husband Parminder Kaundal is a Senior Video Editor at News Network 18 India. They are proud parents of Mehar Kaur Kaundal enrolled in Nursery at Apeejay School, Saket, New Delhi. In an interview, Mrs. Kaur shares how the teachers at school are promoting her daughter’s overall development. Edited excerpts:
What made you think Apeejay School, Saket, would be the right choice for your daughter?
At the time of my daughter’s admission, we were looking for a school that gives a good and healthy environment to students, skilled and supportive teachers and staff, good school culture, transportation facility, and safety and security for my kid. We shortlisted some schools, but after interacting with the Apeejay school teachers we made up our minds that this School is best for my kid’s future. There are many reasons for choosing Apeejay school such as the location, transportation availability, infrastructure and well-equipped learning areas, specially designed to help children satiate their learning needs, and provide them with a warm and supportive environment.
What was the admission process like?
In 2021, we got Mehar enrolled in the school. The process of admission involved filling out an application form and submitting it offline. The procedure was very easy and convenient for us and the faculty members helped us throughout.
Do you personally interact with the faculty on a regular basis?
Yes, we interact with teachers during the parents teacher meeting (PTM) and on the school WhatsApp group. The teachers are very supportive and give each and every update on my kid on a regular basis.

Teachers are always equally engaged with all students. They not only share knowledge with students on a particular subject but also guide them to build the best career.
Have you noticed any particular improvement in your daughter?
Yes, we’ve noticed many improvements in Mehar. Since her admission at Apeejay school, her communication skills, sharing habits, discipline and confidence have developed.
How well does the school ensure children’s safety and security?
Children’s safety and security are as important as high-quality education. The Apeejay school safety and security management are highly efficient and technology-friendly.
How are the teachers helping students on a personal level?
The teacher encourages the young kids to participate in competitions. They take a lot of effort to clear all the doubts of the students and update parents personally.
How is school helping to enhance the speaking skills of your daughter?
The school frequently organises extracurricular activities like annual function, storytelling competitions and carnivals, which helps students to build confidence while speaking. Teachers take classes in English which also helps them understand and learn the language.
Are you working? if yes, then how Apeejay is helping working parents?
Yes, my husband and I are both working. But the transportation facility of Apeejay school makes us tension free, as the bus attendant helps us a lot by giving Mehar’s location on an everyday basis. As working parents, we are usually busy, but the school makes sure to always prior intimate any changes in schedule.
